The trapezoid-shaped house is located in the dynamic cross-border agglomeration, greater Geneva, in Chevry, on a plot of 424 m2.

Due to the small size of the land and its trapezoidal shape, the architectural response of the project was to raise the building to gain space with a semi-underground garage and to opt for a simple volume with two distinct faces:

The northern face being more closed in order to protect the house from wind, whilst the one facing the south side with large windows was more open and exposed in order to capture the sun’s rays.

This, together with a green roof system, complies in an effective way with the environmental demands of CO2 reduction while minimizing energy consumption.
